Food Grade SMBS 97% Sodium Metabisulfite is a white crystalline sodium metabisulfite powder available in technical and food-grade specifications. The material is soluble in water, forming an acidic aqueous solution. It is also soluble in glycerin and slightly soluble in ethanol. RawChem provides separate Technical Grade and Food Grade specification profiles, with controlled main content, iron, water-insoluble matter, heavy metals, and clarity depending on the selected grade.
