Food Grade SAPP Series Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate is a white, odorless crystalline phosphate powder used in food-processing applications. SAPP is commonly used as an acidic component in leavening systems for bread, cakes, and other bakery products. It can also be combined with other phosphates in selected processed-food applications where water retention and product quality are important.
